We are excited to present Sunday Romance’s first styled shoot! In the past, we sometimes would assist in styled shoots by finding vendors and finding models. And during our days in fashion, we were entirely responsible for coordinating the theme, makeup and hair artists, models, location, etc. We put those skills together to come up with our very own inspirational shoot! The feature is slated to appear on Wedding Chicks in the future. For now, here’s a little sneak peek!
A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing vendors.
This styled wedding was inspired by St. Patrick’s Day and themed “Lucky in Love”. We drew in subtle Irish and “lucky” items, with green with gold. We did a loose translation so that elements from the shoot could translate well into real weddings.
The bride and groom are a recently married couple. She worked with Lovey by Isha to create her own custom dream dress. The bride is a professional makeup artist, Chantall of Faces of California, and styled herself for the shoot. Ricky, a wonderful and loving husband, played groom once again.
Kiyoko of Cherry Blossom Floral Designs did a fantastic job with the flowers. She was limited to green and white, but she chose flowers and leaves with beautiful form and texture to create really distinctive arrangements. She also brought with her the gorgeous cups and goblets.
Lauren Sharon of LaurenSHARON Vintage.Shop.Rentals provided all the great vintage furniture. For something unique, she used a vintage gold-tinged beverage cart as the cake table.
Nicole from paper | scissors | print provided a full suite of stationary. She made an elegant invitation in full gold, relying on simple graphic elements and type to bring in Irish elements.
Stevi from Hey There, Cupcake! provided the beautiful geometric-patterned cake. She also created fondant flowers for 3-dimensional texture.
Jackie Q Beauty styled our bridesmaid model, Amber Kennard. Jackie styled Amber’s naturally gorgeous red hair with soft romantic waves and played up her eyes with green shadow.
Isha for Lovey by Isha designed both the beautiful bride and bridesmaid dresses.
Evan Yamada was the awesome assistant photographer for this shoot.
We’ll be sure to announce when the shoot finally appears on Wedding Chicks!
